Welcome to

Our Mission
The Potato Partnership was formed as a collaboration between growers and the industry with aims to tackle some of the key agronomic challenges facing potato growers today.
Through the partnership, we aim to collect and share data and insight to help the UK potato industry to flourish and keep growing for many years to come.

What is The Potato Partnership?

Nick Winmill, former Technical, Research and Development Manager for potato crops at Agrii, discusses the need for The Potato Partnership, who the partners are and how they are working together for the betterment of the industry.

In this Agrii Tramlines podcast epsiode, host Tony Smith talks with James Wrinch from East Suffolk Produce, Graham Tomalin from VCS Potatoes, and Don Pendergrast, Technical Manager for Non-Combinable Trials with Agrii. The podcast focussed on the potato crop and The Potato Partnership, which looks to find solutions to the most pressing weed, pest, and disease threats facing this high-value crop.

The Potato Partnership's ambition is to collaborate with potato growers and industry bodies in order to encourage knowledge transfer and create data for the UK industry in the absence of AHDB.

By becoming a 'member', means you will have access to the materials presented at the events along with any other relevant technical information and data produced from the steering group. There is no criteria to be met on being able to become a member, the process is simply so we can keep those who wish to be informed about future events and information.
